5. Body Shaming and Unrealistic Beauty Standards
Women often face pressure to meet unrealistic beauty
standards, leading to self-esteem issues. The Bible teaches that true beauty
comes from within, a gentle and quiet spirit that is precious to God (1 Peter
3:3-4). Leah, though less favored than Rachel, was chosen by God to be part of
Jesus’ lineage (Genesis 29:31-35). Society must embrace diversity and teach
young girls that their value is not in their appearance but in their character.
Encouraging self-worth based on God’s love will help women find confidence and
joy.
